Volumes technical information

Fiberglass volumes

Material: The body of Aztec volumes is made of a composite from PE resin and fiberglass reinforcement.

Colors: During the production of volumes, we use tinting pigments to produce bright and juicy colors. You can easily clean our volumes and their color will not change. For today, we produce our volumes in 8 standard colors and 2 fluorescent colors:

Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, White, Black, Orange, Purple, Green fluorescent, Pink fluorescent.

Do not install volumes of fluorescent colors outdoors. The color of the volume may fade due to exposure to sunlight.

Friction: The friction of the hold is achieved by applying quartz sand to the surface of the hold. You can use, wash, fill them with chalk, and they will not lose their friction properties.

Characteristics: Our volumes are reinforced with a special metal insert to the attachment sites.  You can install our volumes and not be afraid that the volumes will break or deform.

Fixation: We offer 2 types of fixation for our volumes. The first type is fixing with screws only. The second type is fixing with tapping screws and an M10 bolt.

Recommendations:

  • Install volumes on a smooth surface and fixed at all mounting points.
  • Do not use chemicals during cleaning the volumes. It can affect the color and surface of the volume.
  • Do not install additional holds on fiberglass volumes. This can lead to chipping of parts of the volume.
